This camera was set on an otter toilet, taking care not to touch human scent to the shore. It had been 3 weeks since the camera was checked. I was disappointed to find the card completely blank and batteries dead after some very cold weather, but I did a recovery procedure on the SD card and found 8 different species including this unique photo of a great blue heron in the act of catching a fish.

It is unusual for a doe to leap up this sheer cliff unless something was pressuring her. The next photo is the answer as a buck is making the same leap in pursuit of his love for the night. Date of the photos is actually November 11, 2010. This buck was captured on several cameras at night but no hunters reported having seen him in daylight during hunting season.

This camera was placed on an otter toilet. Otters travel a lot in small streams, usually as a family unit, and may not return to a toilet for months. When they do return to the area they generally re-use the same toilet. It took over 5 weeks and 100 other photos to get an otter here, but then we captured several photos of the otter family of which these 2 young otters is my favorite.

This is the first year that I have used a camera. I bought a Cuddeback because after doing some research, I figured their camera would be my best shot of getting the deer on camera. I placed this camera on the edge of a food plot about 20-30 away from the plot. My brother was checking my plot and drove by the camera with the ATV. He is not a slow driver by any means and I could not believe that when I checked the camera it captured him on the way in and on the way out. He is about 20 feet from the camera traveling at least 15-20mph and the pictures of him are not even cut-off. If that is not centered subject technology and hair trigger technology, then I do not know what is!
