Young spike breeding a doe in the second rut (early December in northern Michigan). The two deer are only feet away from the camera and you can see the excited expression on the buck's face.

just a neat photo,But it made me think of what I have said and heard before. If a turkey had a deer's nose and the deer had the turkey's eyes would we harvest any.

The enclosed photo was taken with a cuddeback capture after the doe made the first jump immediately following the shot. The distance of the shot was 15 yards and I used an excalibur crossbow with a blot tipped with a 2 blade Rage broadhead. The exit would is clearly visable as well as midair blood pouring from the wound. The cuddeback I had on the feeder did a great job. I thought you would like to see a photo that showed graphic evidence of fast trigger speed.

These photos were taken on a bait I had set up in the woods behind our home. Up until the bears in the first photo showed up, who we call the dancing bears , I had never had more than one bear in a photo. A week later another bear joined in on the fun, as seen in the second photo.

Albino doe feeding near Grandpa's deer stand. Can see regular fawn in the background entering the food plot. These albino's are somewhat common in this area of Boulder Junction in Vilas County Wisconsin. We have seen two of them together and have a couple albino bucks in the area. The date on the camera was actually in September of 2010. I forgot to change the date when reinstalling my cameras this past fall.
