My high school students and I are conducting a bobcat and black bear residency study in northeastern Ohio. After a flurry of reports of a bear in the area, I secured permission to place trail cameras on a piece of private property with good habitat. 30 hours later, the bear showed up! I have never seen a trail cam pic this good coming from Ohio.

First pic is of a nice Gray Fox less than 60 yards from the back porch of my house. The second picture is a rare elusive beast-usually only seen once a year. Third is of a nice sized 6 pointer, but he didn't make through the gun season.
