I was hoping to get a few deer on this pile of rice brand. I guess coons and skunks like it to.

Here's a nice silhouette capture of a young pair of 8's that have been travelling mates all summer long.

I had put some deer feed on the ground near our front yard but it didn't get touched so we forgot about it. We got some snow and never saw any activity in the area but when we checked the camera several weeks (and several snowfalls) later, I got this picture.

Having an opportunity to hunt right here where we live, has now given us the chance to manage the feed program and growth of our deer. Springtown Texas is approx. 25 NW of Fort Worth, where we have been suffering from terrible heat and drought this year. It seems as though most of the natural resources for the deer are burning up. I have always fed year round, and it seems to help hold even the free ranging deer. This to me is solid proof that the deer will both hold, and benefit from continued feeding practices. These pics are from within the last couple of weeks. Thanks, Steve de Cento

Interesting post-rut encounter between two bucks. I've never seen this tail positioning on a buck before.
