Elk numbers are growing in northwest Nebraska. These are just a few bulls that are out for an early morning feed.

This bobcat is one of the best spotted cats I have ever gotten in front of the camera. I saw this cat the night before the camera caught him packing a rabbit.

It looks like we have a great bunch of deer to look forward to hunting this fall! These bucks have everything they need, there is a logged over bedding area behind the camera, soybeans, corn, and hayfields in front. Looks like someone was smelling the camera and tipped it a little sideways. Hurry up and get here hunting season!

I use a Wildview Infared Xtreme Game Camera and as you can see the trigger speed is not even fast enough to catch me at a slow walk so how is it going to catch a deer at a steady pace. That is why I was hoping to win the Cuddeback Trigger Speed Challenge so I could actually get pictures of the deer on my propery not pictures of trees and leaves.

I call this buck unibrows because his browtines seem to curl like a unicorn and in the first picture is when he was a four year old and the second picture is what he has become as a prime time 5 year old both pictures in the velvet of summer
