I borrowed my Dad's Capture IR to catch a few pics of the bucks coming into the apple trees. Low and behold we caught this flying squirrel swooping in for a close up!

This photo is of three bucks with unique points on the right main beam. Looks like the two older bucks didn't want any company while they had their late night snack.

Play Time! I have had my Cuddeback cameras up for months helping me scout what deer are in the area and pattern them. Since they are logging part of the property we hunt, I decided to place my new Attack IR camera in a new area where there was some fresh sign in hopes of finding another spot I could hang a stand. Even though there weren't many deer pictures, I was thrilled to see these two on the camera. I have never captured anything like this before. What are the chances these two would decide to play around right in front of my camera? My dad couldn't wait to get back to the truck to call his buddies and tell them what my Cuddeback had captured. We joked around the whole ride home about what we were going to tell everyone they were doing. We came up with everything from wrestling to sharing their first dance together! Checking my cameras is something that my dad and I look forward to doing together each week and I believe it has rejuvenated his love of hunting. Thanks!

Picture taken at our hunting camp near Thief River Falls, MN in Aug. 2011. We put up 3 trail cameras to see what dear were on the land. We had a mama bear and three cubs show up too many times to count. Most of the time they were eating our corn. This photo shows 2 of the cubs having fun dancing in front of the camera.

This big guy looked like he was in a big hurry by the looks of the dust cloud he stirred up. Of course the Texas drought has caused a lot of areas very dusty, almost the consistency of beach sand. This was taken on our property outside of Centerville, TX by one of our Capture cameras. It is a great shot that managed to pick up a lot of detail.

We were conducting our annual deer survey on our ranch in Milam County, Texas and had placed a pile of corn inside a hog-proof pen. The deer could jump in but the hogs could not. Our Cuddeback Capture camera caught this fine picture of a young buck midair on his way out.

The first picture is from a stealth cam that i bought and as you can see its a big deer but because of the slow trigger speed im not able to tell how big the buck actually is. The second photo is from a wildview that missed the deer altogether and the third photo is from a wildgame nation and the infer red is so bad all you get is a white photo instead of deer. I'm now buying a cuddeback so i'll have at least one camera that does whats is suppose to and thats get good pictures of deer.
