ON his first ever trip deer hunting Jackson Cole, 9 years old, got a shot at this one horned buck, and shot just under the deer. The deer jumped straight up and the CuddeBack IR caught the buck landing on his front feet. Its a great photo for quick trigger speed or interesting shots.

This buck is known as Crabby first captured on our camera in 09. After having several encounters, & passed opportunities we were excited for him to reach 4 1/2. On Oct 28th, 2010 crabby had blown into a stud that we were hoping to harvest. After filling my tag on a 160 9pt on Halloween, Crabby was going to again get a free pass as he came by at 20 yards on November 11, 2010. Fast forward to the first week of November 2011, & Crabby was showing up everywhere on the farm and on the morning of November 16th I crawled into one of my favorite stands. I grabbed the card out of my Cuddeback Attack IR and checked it in the tree. Crabby had been in and out of this scrape for the previous 2 days. At 2 o'clock pm I looked down and through the thicket here came crabby, he was on a trail leading 35 yrds from the stand. He stepped out and I was able to place a perfect shot on him as he ran 60 yrds and piled up. Without my Cuddeback I would have never known he was in there at 2 o'clock.

Great to know there is one like this left. Now, if we get some snow in Muzzleloder season and he starts moving in daylight....

Moved my camera to a new area, returned to find it tilted on the tree and a scrape almost directly in front of the camera. Guessing this guy bumped it?

The cuddeback caught the buck I shot 3 seconds prior to the shot. I'm in the tree in the upper right of the photo with my bow in hand and readying to draw.

Here is the buck I called Triple Brow. I had him on my cuddeback last year and this year he grew the 3 browtines even longer. I have gotten alot of wolf pictures this year in my area. I have found a few kill sites of deer that they taken down. There is a few good bull elk too cruising in our area. My buddy has this exact bull on his cuddeback which is about 10 miles as the crow flies from where this camera was set. Shows you that elk can put on some miles.

Great early season pose after the young buck had been racking his antlers in the sumac.
