We put this pile of rabbits out to help draw in the coyotes, look like it sparked the interests of others too.

I scouted an area by topo maps in 2009 and 2010. I grouse and turkey hunted it in early 2011 and found a place to set a stand that looked promising. I bought my Attack in late summer and set it up mid-fall at my new place. This big split brow 8 got right in its face! I hunted him and got pictures of a second buck 21 wide but not a heavy. I ended up taking the smaller wide 9 in early December a day after getting video of him.

I found a new hunting spot in WV bow only counties while spring turkey hunting. I got pictures of a decent 10 and caught him tending does at my Capture. He appears to be telling her to hold up and give up to him in this picture.

I began hunting a new area I had scouted by topo maps after the 2010 season. A big momma bear and her cubs started hanging around my stand. I walked in on them one morning. Luckily, they moved on together. I got this picture of momma scratching her back. I also got pictures of a bear at another spot. The bruin was not afraid of people and 3 of us had close encounters with him wandering in on us. He tracked me to my stand one evening. He appears to surrender in this picture and taunts in the other.

I hunted a big 12 point for 2 years in a remote bow hunting only area of WV. There are few deer and I hunted those 2 years w/o seeing a deer. Finally, on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving the second year, I got my opportunity at him. A doe he was following came in an hour before daylight and I was on the ground still. My Cuddeback was taking pictures the entire time. They stayed around me until after daylight, but my bow was on the ground 10' away. At one point, he was within 6 yards on one side and her 15 on the other. When another buck came in and got too close, the big 12 kicked the smaller bucks tail! I used the opportunity to grab my bow. He came back after the skirmish to tend her and I shot him. Snow was melting and the area was steep and had been timbered. I looked until the end of December and couldn't find him. The next summer I got the picture of someone holding his skull in front of my cam. After months of investigation, I found the person and eventually got the skull.

At our lease in Monroe County, WV, I set up a camera where I had seen a nice 9 point. I hoped to get does coming in by putting apples, which he seemed to favor, at my new Attack. I got this doe that I think he was chasing. It stopped the action, even at night!

I have gotten pictures of a unbalanced 6 point for 4 years. In 2011, he turned into a real stud and grew small brows and a kicker to make him a 9 point. He was the dominant buck in my hunting area this year. I got this picture of him completely turning this other buck over. He put the smack on the smaller 8 point.
