First off, I passed both these bucks the year prior to witness there potential. We practice QDM and are dedicated to doing so every year. I scouted these bucks all summer and fall, hundreds of cuddeback pics from the woods to my food plots. After being patient and waiting them out, the big 7pt finally showed with no time to think, he ducked my arrow while looking for a hot doe that cruised by shortly before. After a few long hard weeks, finally on the last day of shotgun season the big 10pt made his first daytime appearance and presented me a shot. Sure enough the shockwave bullet just grazed his belly hair. If you look close you will see the piece of belly hide missing. Though it was a season full of unfortunate luck! Its good to know thanks to my cuddebacks and my turnip food plots they are both alive and healthy along with numerous beautiful up and coming bucks! QDM works! Practce it! Thanks Cuddeback!

With the warm weather that we have been having here in MN and no snow that stays the bucks arent stressed like last year when we had 2 feet of snow and cold weather. This is the only buck out of 15 different ones i have on trail camera that has shed well one side anyways he held on to the other side for atleast 4 days if you look at the date on the pics.

This buck ive been hunting for the past 4 years. This year he finally started to go down hill. I have 3 out of the past 4 years of sheds off him and im hoping this year Ill find them again. Hes wintered in the same spot every year since he was 3 and a half except when he was 4 and a half he was wintering on the neighbors and i didnt get to find his sheds. I believe hes 7 and a half years old judging off of sheds and trail cam pics. Im hoping this year ill find his sheds again as you can see he still has them last year he dropped them on Dec. 23.
