I guess when the bucks lose their velvet some feel like they have to add other accessories. Also gotta love reflection photos.

Surprised too see a couple Sandhill cranes on my camera. Never had anything like that on camera before.

Who’s There? Was that a camera I just heard? This beauty visited my stand several times before hunting season, all during legal hours. After the season started, I never saw him again in pictures or while at stand. High Hopes for awhile. Just knowing he was around provided plenty of motivation.

This big buck seems to enjoy having his picture taken. He has joined several does for dinner in this open clover field. He will be on our radar this deer season in November. This picture was taken in the corn belt on free range property.

Had two Cuddeback G2+ cameras monitoring a bear bait station and have multiple pictures of Momma Bear and her triplets. This one was by far the cutest. I'm thinking something to the south, the direction they were looking, may have spooked them.

No big story. Just a cool pic from one of my three cuddebacks. This one is on a corner of a fence row and a corn field in the thumb of Michigan.

I have a prolific wolf pack that travels through my hunting camp almost daily. About 50% of the wolves are jet black, including the alpha female. She had three black pups last year and seven this year. Most pictures are at night.

After applying for 7 years, I got a bear tag for the Gladwin Michigan area. I have never hunted bear so I have been reading and talking to other bear hunters. Our group owns 80 acres for deer hunting. We have seen bears from time to time but this is the first time any of us have drawn a permit. We are allowed to bait in Michigan so I put out one bait barrel and several attracting scents. I finally got a picture of a bear and look forward to hunting him when the season opens next week.
