We have a few bobcats in the area that co-exist with out turkeys, deer and other wildlife. I've seen a bobcat from the tree stand while hunting about a dozen times. We don't have a hunting season on them, only a trapping season for a short while in December and January. A bobcat would be a cool mount, i'd need to brush up on my bobcat trapping skills. For now photos like these illustrate the need for all kinds of wild life for each of them to survive.

I thought this was a nice shot since it featured a pretty nice buck and also some nice fall colors. In 2019 I got my personal best buck from this same spot, a 150 inch 8 pointer. I also have some other pictures of other bucks at this scrape with their antlers in the branches above in this old white oak tree. There was a really good acorn crop from this tree this year which also helped bring the deer in to this location.

I had a Cuddeback E3 camera out early this year to capture turkey photos prior to the Minnesota spring turkey season. In doing so, I captured this beautiful photo of a doe and her buck fawn (note the buttons) in a special moment of mutual trust and caring for each other.
