The first deer shown is my first trail cam pic of the 2012 season. We call him Sloppy Joe because of the 2 stickers coming off both main beams and he is developing another point off the end of his right main beam. The other is a nice main frame 10 with a 4-5 drop tine and a mess of stickers around his bases. He has an injured front left leg from what I would guess is either from a car or a bullet. I'm calling this guy Lucky, but hopefully Lunky's luck is soon to run out... Wink, wink

I found the photo interesting. It looks like the spiders in Michigan have given up on catching bugs and now they are going after bigger game, deer. The Capture camera is located at the far west part of our farm in an area frequented this time of year by does with new fawns. It is almost like a sanctuary area for new mothers and their fawns.

With the drought going on wisconsin where better to put a cuddeback then over water? Last thing I thought I would get a picture of here would be a hawk. Goes to show how quick of a trigger speed the cuddebacks have!

We have been seeing this mom and one of her babies for a while, but we finally got a great shot. This momma and her twins enjoying some feed we left out. they are back every day and we can see tremendous growth already. One of the fawns appears to be a small buck and the other a dough. Can't wait to see them grow.
