As I checked my camera recently, I came across this picture of a hawk that swooped down after a mouse or some kind of critter. It is amazing how fast the trigger speed on my Cuddeback Attack has to be in order to catch this hawk in mid-flight.

after how tuff our deer season was last fall i didnt expect to see the two bucks from my picture that won photo of the week alive again, but with a little over a month left before deer not 1 but both of the bucks showed up.

my mom drew a once in a lifetime elk tag, and is letting me hunt off it via the mentored outh program in oregon. this is the salt lick where we plan to hunt the opener and it is possibly the beswt salt lick in oregon. The picture was taken roughly 30 minutes after we left.
