My father and I just got this property last March. We have been preparing the land for deer season, by building stands, clearing paths and getting camera's out.

These are the first images that I captured on a new hunting lease that I acquired this year. What an awesome suprise.

The first photo, is what typically happens when my Wildgame Innovations camera takes a photo. I walked by at a SLOW pace and the camera took a picture after I was out of view! On the second picture, I hopped slowly on one foot in front of the camera, which took about 5 or 6 seconds. The camera barely caught me, the same as it barely catches moving game. The third picture just emphasizes how slow the camera takes pictures again. I've basically been forced to set this camera up over mineral licks or food plots, not deer trails where the deer are walking, to get the deer to stand still long enough to take a good picture. As most deer hunters know, sometimes you really need to get pictures of deer trails in order to know which trails their using!

Getting an idea what a new property has proves to be very interesting with these great looking deer.

Marinette county: Bill Brofka Looks like two brothers fighting to decide who gets breakfest. There is a big anthill nearby they like to snack on.
