After getting their bellys full they thought they would take a seat before moving on.

This bear had been hitting the bait for about a week. My dad ended up shooting him last sunday, his very first. What a hunt!

This deer is the one that I call The Moon Pie buck. His antlers just look like a moon to me. He has only came out this year at night so far. Last year I seen him several times during the day, but he had half of his antler broke off. This year he is a year older, a little bit wiser; I think im up for it. When the wheather is right, and God blesses me with the opportunity to harvest this deer I will take it.

The first picture is a pair of does. It almost looks like the are playing chase. The second picture caught two really nice bucks just running by. There is a super buck behind the other one. The third picture looks like a buck just trotting by. These were taken by my Cuddeback Attack IR. I have it set along a trail in between feeding and bedding areas.

The first picture is a buck that hopes nobody is looking. The second picture is a super nice tall narrow 10 point that is 6 1/2. He's in a hurry to go somewhere. The third picture is a really cool picture of lightning. We are getting some badly needed rain in the Texas Panhandle.

This spike buck is the first buck we got a picture of in the food plot that my father, my 11 year old son and I planted. We built a stand together about 20 yards from the camera location. My son and I are excited about he upcoming archery season. We have his bow up to 40lbs and this will be his first archery season as PA mentoring youth. I promised him a while ago that I would get his first buck mounted. I told him this spike would be legal for him to take if he gets an opportunity. He asked if I would get a spike buck mounted and I assured him that I would even if it is a spike buck. I hope to be able to update this story once the season starts.
