I hunt all season from September to January and never get a shot at the boys of the night. This is a shot of some late December rut action. Without my new Cuddeback camera, I would have never known these bad boys even were around.

A buck I call Hat Rack has eluded me on several occasions. The morning the last picture was taken was the third morning in a row Hat Rack had walked passed my stand and all photos were taken with-in a 10 minute window every day. On the fourth morning I got to the stand at 5:15am only to bump ol Hat Rack. He has been seen on other stand locations sence, but he is a little wiser now. These Cudde Back camera's are a valuable tool in getting me closer to figuring our Hat Rack's routines and mistakes. Last year I only had pictures of a 140 Hat Rack to help make plans for the next season. Those pictures made it able to zero in on a small 1/2 acre patch of woods that he called home. The Cudde Back IR made it possible to locate his tiny ticket he bedded down in daily. I know that the 180+ inch Hat Rack made it though the 2012 hunting season, because I have seen him. Now, Game On for next year's chess match with Ol` Hat Rack. I'm hoping for Hat Rack to bust 200 inches.
