A MEETING AT THE WATERING HOLE IN THE OZARKS. I SHOT THE LARGER DROPTINE BUCK THIS YEAR WITH MY BOW. THIS WAS ONE OF THE LAST PHOTOS I HAVE OF THIS BUCK BEFORE MY CAMERA WAS STOLEN OFF MY PROPERTY. I HAD BEEN PLAYING CAT AND MOUSE WITH HIM FOR 3 YEARS.

I have gotten several pictures @ night that are unreal in the stopping of obvious quick action. You can see the talons of the flying owl and the deer were stopped at the time of quickest motion.

I got into a new hunting area after the 2011 season and did some post season scouting. I found some scrapes and big tracks. I put out a Trophy Rock in March. In August I went back and set up my No Flash. I immediately got 3 Popes, 2 big 9 points and a 13 point. As season approached and the bucks started to get a little testy with each other I got these pictures of them.

Our gang has been after this big 11 for about 7 years now but he's one of the smart bucks that only come out at night. The 2 bucks together I thought was a cool pic. The smaller of the 2 my step son(an apprentice hunter) and I seen on a late season bow hunt but was not able to bring him in close enough for a clean shot. This last pic shows the post rut in action the day after Christmas

This deer is a 19pt. still in Velvet. He has no testacles and never drops his horns, they just continue to grow. I believe this type of deer has male and female reproductive organs.

I am not sure if these to bears were actually fighting or playing when this picture was taken near Amicalola Falls State Park.

This bear approached my Capture IR and if it hadn't been for the bear proof camera box I would have lost the camera. There were teeth marks on the box before the bear finally gave up. Members in our club who didn't have the bear proof box lost(3)cameras to damage.
