DURING SPRING TURKEY SEASON I SET UP MY CAMERA TO GET A PICTURE OF A BIG OLE TOM BUT TO MY SUPPRISE , IT WAS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME PICTURE THAT MARKED THE SPOT .

I set my camera out to try to get a photo of a strutting gobbler, but to my surprise I got a photo of a red phase(Erythritic phase) tukey. I don't know how common this color phase is, but I'm glad I was fortunate to get some photos. I hope he survives another year. Going thru these photos was better than Christmas.

racoons proving they can get into about any feeder. That is why it is so expensive to feed deer.

His first visit this spring. Looks like he wintered well. He loves the bird seed, corn, sunflower seeds and suet cakes.
