Finally hiked up in our woods as soon as the snow cleared. Was pretty shocked to see a couple Elk on the camera! Different antler patterns on them. no Tags in their ears so it might be one of the 2 wild herds in MN. Havent seen any cows yet!

This first pic is of a fawn killing coyote. For several weeks before this picture was taken, we had been keeping an eye on pregnant does, and newborn fawns. Then our pics went dead for a few days. No deer on cam at all. This was the first deer we saw after several days of nothing. The next picture is of a cute velvet buck feeding with some does.. and tree ducks? WTF?

Slash was harvested by us in the 2012 season after a daunting 3 year chase. Each year he broke his rack up and got a free pass until the following year!(and do glad we did now! ) So painful to watch him come within 20 yards of us and not be able to shoot. We literally had thousands of pictures of him every year, all year long! And what a sight every time seeing that rack! He was dubbed Slash due to his ear slash in the right ear and he had it from the first photo got in 2010. We have picked up his sheds every year and got lucky enough to catch him early on Sept 23 2012 and harvested him with my bow. Slash scored a whooping 217 !! It was all captured on film by my fiance and was featured on Cuddebacks The Wild Outdoors just this week! Incredible story!

Luckily gonna go check my camera that night after work, asked the girlfriend to join. Started our way up towards the woods with the ATV and saw something ive never seen in real life before... two young bucks fighting over food or just having a bromance moment. I told the girlfriend it would be pretty sweet if I captured it on my Cuddeback Capture. Then they heard or smelt us and took off. I decided to check it anyways. I was right again, there it was!! Very cool, first time experience. And to save it, print it out for a nice picture. I really enjoy looking at quality pictures and some amazing experiences in the woods.
