When I spotted the symbol in the middle of the fawns forehead, I figured it had to be a flaw in the picture or a spot on the lens. I then found 2 more photos of the same fawn with this marking. Now I question if this is an omen or sign of something. I'm hoping to follow this deer to see if this marking disappears when it loses its spots.

Here's a first. Deer in felt. Can't wait to see it in four or five month's. Our cameras do the shooting, we do the looking. :):)

my 11 year old son and I thought we would just walk over a hill to check one of our 4 cameras on 120 acres since we were close and without an atv. boy, were we shocked at what were on the camera. 795 pictures in 10 days that were all deer. he's ready to go, been shooting almost every night since his youth season starts in about 6 weeks. he's even got it for a screen saver on his cell phone. hope he gets a crack at one of them. it's still early and they should put on some more bone...

I had noticed bobcat tracks on this log, used repeatedly for crossing the cold water of the creek. He returned again for his portrait.
