Opening morning of Texas deer season, this buck had moved in to feeder, I realized he was one set to be culled out, after taking the shot I came back that afternoon and checked my camera, to my surprise, the Cuddeback with its fast trigger speed caught the deer as he ran, not only can you see the blood below him, if you look you will see droplets in the air behind him.

A friend of mine from Chicago who has recently got into deer hunting, asked me if the deer moved in the snow? Well here ya go. Late season Indiana bruiser wondering around in the snow, at night of course!

I have a 1 1/2 acre woods that is the only place I have to hunt anymore because of the fracturing of large farms in williamson county in southern illinois. But I do get a few pictures of deer and turkey because it located in a travel area that borders ground that I used to have permission to hunt. The pictures are usually of does and small bucks and mainly at night and every once in awhile I get a picture of a nice buck when the rut is peaking but still only at night.

Having no luck in seeing him during daylight before the rut, I was worried he had died or gotten killed. Then after opening weekend of shotgun season rumors sprend of a massive 10 point getting shot only 500 yards from where I had beenbow hunting him, I knew it was him. After seeing some pics on phones, internet, facebook and in the local paper confirmed it was him! 4 years of chasing him had come an end. Not the way I was hoping, but at least he didn't die of old age. Scoring around 180 give or take. Your product makes me hunt harder longer and keeps me going when the temps hit -20?. Oh, and if nothing else makes them big buck sightings reality of what big really means!! Dead 11/10/13. Thanks a million.

These are the rest of the pics of him from the spring of '13. I knew I was getting close to him. Now I only had to wait for him to screw up or the rut. With so many people after him by now I wanted him as soon as possible!!

Here is the neighbors pic of him in '12, I never captured him once this year on camera or seen him in person. Just then the spring of '13 I had finally figured out where he was living and hiding all this time. What a smart old guy. After getting pics of him early in the year of him.

This picture won pic of the month in August '12. What magnificent animal he was in '11. The neighbors found his sheds in December '11 and they scored in the upper 170 . I believe he was 6 1/2 years old. Here in central Todd county I think it's pretty rare for a buck to live this long. Lots of hunting pressure, car accidents and bad winters this old beast made it threw.
