This bear had a tagged ear and seemed very calm. He actually took a nap after eating all the corn. He returned several times and we would stand out on the back porch and talk to him. Never more than 40 feet close to him with the door handle right in our hands.

These pictures were taken at one of our favorite stands under a large white oak we call the mother tree . When the acorns fall, every critter that loves acorns comes a callin! the one pic is a buck early on a foggy morning, one is a beautiful standing black bear we will be hoping to bait in this September, and a 2 year old 8 up close and personal.
