We were super surprised when these two bucks showed up among others. We never paid much attention to this alfalfa/clover field or area of my folks farm for a number of years until now. Certainly makes it easy to pass on young bucks when older ones are around.

I got this picture 20 yards in front of the 2 man stand I put up so my 12 year daughter could hunt with me. It's where 2 trails cross and also where I started a mineral lick last year. She is very excited about this buck because I told her no matter how big a buck is that comes by us she gets the first shot with her crossbow.

Hopefully by the time this is posted on the cuddeback website, I will have put my tag on this Minnesota monster. A recent cold front and full moon have really gotten the bucks out and about. Some even during shooting hours. Wide and heavy 10 pt. once again I don't know what I'd do with out my cuddeback's. And hands down the new models are the best ever made.

The bucks usually start losing their velvet around labor day weekend here in central MN. This year is no different by the pics from the cuddeback. Gonna be a nice one next year.

Young good looking buck lost his velvet and also broke part of his rack off too. Hopefully he makes it through this hunting season.

Nice looking 3 1/2 yr old. Hopefully he lives to be 4 or 5 1/2. He has triple and double brow tines, looks very unique.
