I've seen many stages of velvet loss but this startling contrast was a first. It looked like the buck in velvet was staring in disbelief Louie, I like what you've done with your horns.

It is not unusual for us to see bucks with decent racks roaming during daylight hours this time of year. Come hunting season, these guys come out only at night. It is unusual to get a photo with 2 nice bucks. They are entering a pine woods and most likely came from the woods in the photo background. Note third buck in background.
