THE FOX WENT OUT ON A CHILLY NIGHT : This photo reminds me of a childhood story a old song was created into a story book by Peter Spier it takes place in New England, with talented drawings , the scene as the fox enters the goose pen, he's licking his chops the fox in the story was a red fox this is a gray fox.

The camera is setup on a key crossing with a stand 20 yards away. This was the first sighting of this bruiser with 3 drop tines. He appears to be a main frame 8 with matching crab claws on the G3's and matching drop tines off the front of each main beam. The drop tine on the rear is in the shape of an S .

I have the camera setup to checkout the bucks close to one of my best stands. I got several pictures of turkeys, but this one made my kids crack up. It looks like the turkey is thinking I am busted and I might be on the menu for Thanksgiving! Luckily for that one, there's no fall season in my part of the state.

We've been catching some black bears on our trail cameras while looking for that next Boone and Crockett buck to come by. This year we have had a a couple sows with at least 6 cubs between them. The nice buck caught on camera looks like he's been cleaning out some brush.
