While we were busy getting everything ready for tomorrow's gun opener on the morning of 11/14 this guy passed in front of the Ambush IR across from the corner stand (my dad's spot) . It would have been a 20 yd shot! We've been watching this big boy grow for the past three years through pictures taken in the middle of the night. I guess this proves it ... when it comes to the rut, the big boys don't care what time of day it is. Lesson learned!!

This alfalfa field is a great feeding area for a lot of deer. Lot's of buck feed there, and cruise it checking does. It looks to me like this young buck is looking for trouble!

As much as I love to harvest a mature buck during the Indiana season, its always nice to see the ones who made it through! See you next year!

I started getting pics of this buck in mid-September, but it wasn't until I got pictures of him on 6 out of 8 days between late October and early November that I knew that I had a legit chance of killing him. I killed him after only two days of hunting him! This was one of my favorite pics of all time before harvesting him and it means even more to me now! My best buck to date, 174 gross!

I'm hoping that my submission from my home computer got to you as its a new system and I have no way of knowing you received it. The attached picture I believe is very interesting. It caught two does at a bait site having it out I'm sure over the corn. We have a couple of your cameras which have been a great help in pin pointing the deer and when to hunt. Thanks for considering this shot.

I had put the camera on a main game trail west of my house and this is one of my photos that I got. I know the deer isn't much to look at but I thought the way he was jumping the fence and the colors in the background were really nice. This picture was take in South Dakota 20 miles east of the Missouri river.
