I had recently taken a bluebird nesting box down for the season and hung my ambush on the pine tree where the nesting box was to get some photos of the neighborhood deer. I believe this bluebird initially thought the camera was a nesting box, but eventually bacame confused and dropped his building material.

The rut has just started to heat up in my area and this guy has been running back and forth across my camera. I guess all the running, along with a swollen neck, made him tired and need to take a little break right in front of my camera. Best picture I have every got on a game camera.

The doe in the middle has its tongue over its nose, we now call it Rudolph. It goes to show how quick this camera can take a picture.

I had put some scent out and a flash camera to try to get a color photo of a fisher but got this coyote. He found the scent and rolled in it.

I normaly don't take my dogs when I go to check cameras, but it's been so cold the past week that they needed to get out and get some exercise. and I was going to bring the cameras home anyway. I didn't get a deer picture on this deer trail but kind of interesting the way the dogs and a coyote went over the blowdown. After having double digit below temps for a week the camera still has a fast trigger speed.

Antler restrictions do work in Pennsylvania. Here is a prime example of a mature PA deer that survived to live another year!
