I was lucky enough to find a fresh Mountain Lion kill of a mule deer near my home in Colorado, so I put 3 Cuddeback cameras on it to see what would return. I always wondered if the flash truly bothers the animals, but as you can see, they sometimes sleep right through it. Four different lions, including this female and her cub can back to eat on the carcass. I ended up with over 90 lion pictures, even though the temperature was below zero much of the time which is a problem with other cameras I've used.

I love setting up Cuddeback cameras on wallows, because unlike trails where you get a fleeting glimpse of an animal, wallows usually show a sequence of images. Here a young bull can't wait to get mudded up!
