I've been watching this buck for several years on my Cuddeback. He has matured into a great herd buck. Hopefully he has has spread his genes throughout the ranch.

Earlier this Fall I found an occupied bear den in Colorado. I placed a couple cameras near the entrance to see if the bear would periodically come out. To my surprise, they come out to stretch and eat snow for liquid almost on a daily basis and it's almost Christmas. I guess they really don't go into a deep sleep.

I thought I had a mutant deer when I realized it was 3 separate deer in some sort of fight or interaction. Needless to say it is an interesting photo.

Seems I'm having trouble with my feeder no matter where I move it. First, it was flying raccoons, then rattlesnakes, and now it appears we have pigs that walk around on two legs.

I have been watching this buck since early October on my farm in Ohio. He has been completely nocturnal and just started to show up closer to light hours in the last week. With over a month left in the season I can only hope he makes a mistake.
