Pre-Season Turkey Action. Gobbler Gobbling & a Jake Strutting. So far our Pa. Youth hunt was a bust for my family. Thinking the colder weather had some to do with it. Hoping the Regular season heats up. The third pic is of a Doe that started showing up with a Bum hind leg . Surprised she made it through our winter this year. Not sure what happen to her , maybe hit by Car or something . But she is a survivor !!!

Living in the high desert of southern New Mexico everything comes in to the water we have developed on our ranch which is located in the foothills of the Sacramento Mountains. I have had numerous bear photos but this is the first I've gotten of a momma and cub. The cub never did get in the water despite momma's coaxing.

Trying to eliminate feral hogs from Iron County, Mo. Using corral trap. The pictured boar is only about 225#, but look how high he can jump as he tries to escape! Those are six foot high cattle panels, each square is four inches. His nose is about 5 from the top of the cage in this shot!

I set up this camera to see where all the corn was going since there weren't many deer tracks. Well out of over 550 squirrel photos I guess I figured it out. I call this little female squirrel (Kung Fu Squirrel Girl). I think it's very fitting. The camera was mounted to a tree about 2 feet from the ground and it looks like she was jumping onto the camera.

It looks like he sees the camera and wanted to show off. This is in front of the ground blind I was going to hunt. Opening day came and went but this big boy never showed up for his second show.

Some more Northern NH grouse photos, during drumming season. This snowshoe hare still has a few white patches.

I'm enjoying using my camera in the off season. Sure beats letting it sit on the shelf.
