In an attempt to see what antelope were in the country, we set up our Cuddeback Capture IR camera. We left it there for two weeks, the first of which was very hot. The second week it rained. The camera does great in the rain. We got some great shots of antelope, birds, deer and captured our first photo of a mountain lion. Not only was it our first photo of a mountain lion on the game trail camera, it was in the process of ambushing an antelope at this spring. The odds of that happening must have been one in a million that this took place in front of my camera. There was dust in the air, and fur flying. I wish the picture was a little more centered but I think we are very lucky to have captured this event

I placed the camera on the trail near the back of our property so I can see what is going on while I'm at work.

Just a typical early summer in Michigan when mother and fawns begin to actively browse together. If fawns could talk...one might say, I hope this photo shoot goes well because my neck is killing me ! Best friends forever!
