We were looking thru the photos from the camera and they were all pictures of deer away from the camera and all of a sudden this picture appears and we both (my wife and I) jumped cause it was such a close shot and then we both laughed about it cause it was like it was saying Hello in there, can you see me now? and we still laugh every time we look at the picture.

The Devil 9 lost his velvet less than a week ago and here he is out using that massive rack fighting with younger bucks. Velvet comes off and so does all the friendly bachelor groups as well. I can't believe he was out during daylight. That don't happen real often.

After spotting what looked like a good size buck the night before, we set a camera out the next day and when we checked it a week later, we were very surprised this buck was much more than a good buck it was a great buck

This pic was taken on 99 acres I own located just west of Port Gibson, MS. The front portion of my place is covered with a huge patch of Kudzu which draws in lots of deer from the surrounding area. So I set up my Cuddeback Ambush right next to the kudzu patch and put a little rice bran on the ground to draw the deer closer for a picture. The buck all the way to the right is a huge mature 9 point that is at least 5.5 years old. I have taken many pictures of deer fighting over the rice bran pile through the years with the 7 cuddeback cameras I own but usually its always does sparring with their hooves. I have never captured a pic like this where the buck is standing up this straight. Thanks Cuddeback.

I'm uploading these images for my neighbor: the camera was set up in the open space behind his house to try and catch a glimpse of any critters that may be using the draw. We didn't expect much action, but instead got over 110 shots of everything from deer, turkeys, bears, dogs, hikers and even people riding dirt bikes! We saw a few blurry shots of a deer running away with the next frame being a bear that may have been after her! What a great first experience with game cameras this has been. We look forward to capturing many more images in the months to come as the animals prepare for cooler weather.
