The Devil 9 has been busy making scrapes and marking his territory. Looks as if he is ready for the rut any time. He has put on an unbelievable amount of weight in the past month.

I recently switched to using a cuddeback camera and got excellent results. Here is a once in a lifetime picture of two bucks fighting after eating rice bran.

This is the reason we see so many feral hogs on our place in Deep East Texas. We shoot hogs weekly on our property. Some of the males we have seen and shot have weighed as much as 400 pounds.

This photo was taken on my birthday. An apple tree with a scrape under it. I was out of town to check out Lake Erie steel heads. Archery season started today 10-3-15.

The devil 9 has been on camera 3 years in a row now! Hes always on and off on our land til the rut hits and then he always seems to stay on our land. His rack and body are huge! He already has the woods all tore up with scrapes so looks like hes here to stay again! Hopefully get a crac at him this year!
