Picked up a new lease after losing the one I had for the last 40 yrs. I thought my world of hunting was over. The property i had after many years of practicing QDM I never thought i would find myself looking for new ground to hunt. And never thought i would see deer better than i have ever caught on my cuddebacks in the passed. Boy was I wrong.

These two bucks have been on my cuddeback almost daily. They've had a few encounters but nothing too serious. I'm sure hoping to get an opportunity with my crossbow!

They say mature bucks do the same thing every year and the devil 9 was darn close to it just a day early this year. The bucks are really starting to move now. If the devil 9 stays on his normal pattern like he did last year theres a good chance I will be able to get a chance at this nice buck!

Was deer hunting and found my Attack IR pulled from the tree by the screws I used to mount it. My Cuddesafe saved my camera and a great view of the culprits!

Had the trail cam situated in the front yard for many weeks, never capturing much other than falling leaves and whimsical birds. Which can be at times, a joy in themselves, the leaves with their colors and the birds with their antics. Nonetheless we yearned for a bit more, we placed it on the side of the house near the small creek and tree line. Lo' and behold, this doe had some antics of her own to display. Now we are on to her!

A field in an area we seldom hunt. We had this buck on another cuddly back a mile away all summer then disappeared. Till now.

I've owned 4 different Cuddeback cameras but the model that continues to perform over the years is my Capture IR. My family has about 2 acres of food plots in northern Maine where the winters can be brutally harsh to the deer. Since we put the plots in about 6 years ago, the herd has had a better survival rate, does are having twins at a higher rate, and the racks of the bucks are much bigger. The three pictures are all of one deer that we have tracked throughout the years but haven't been able to locate during the daytime when hunting season rolls around. Maybe this year will be the one. I'm also looking forward to putting my new Long Range IR out when I get it to capture some high resolution pictures of him.
