We have been running a leopard project in Tandoureh National Park, along the Turkmenistan-Iran borderland in central Asia. On 8 May 2018, we took this leopard with a neonate urial lamb inside the mouth near a spring where the camera trap was deployed. The camera trap was adjusted by Kaveh Hobeali, our dedicated field coordinator. Leopards show a seasonal shift to neonates after ungulate birth pulses in spring and this is the first picture showing predation on lambs by leopards across the Asian highlands.

I’ve had these coming through our yard since they were just little. We sit on our porch and watch them parade past. The last picture looks like a buck I will want to watch this year. He has two horns on his one side.

I am field researcher working on Crocodilian species. We use our camera to get insights on our otherwise shy animals and in our latest assignment, got amazing captures. The camera worked excellently both for day and night captures.
