Elk are ghosts and this proves it. They only walk by the house in middle of the night in thick snow.

South Louisiana rarely sees snow on the ground. I'm 51 years old and this is the third time in my life we've had over 5" snow, so it's pretty rare. One of my cameras caught this young 8-pt foraging in the snow with a crazy beautiful sunset in the background. Due to the uniqueness of the snow event in S LA, Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries is going to promote the picture soon in a photo contest they are opening up for Wildlife in the S LA Snow.

I’ve been running my cuddelink system for over 5 years straight with solar panels, and it is the most useful system for staying out of the woods, and not disturbing deer from having to pull cards. I recently got this picture of a doe that finally provides proof that deer can indeed “teleport” from out of thin air. I’ve enjoyed sharing this picture with my friends, and it was suggested that I submit it. Thanks again for making such a great product. I run 12 cameras on my 26 acre property, and would never be able to do it with other brands that require a plan for each camera. Sincerely, Matthew Scheffler
