This troop of African Baboons lives near where my camera is located and they often walk past the camera in a troop of probably 20 individuals. The young babies usually ride on the back of one of the adults.

This is a Bushpig and is the first time one has been photographed near Somerset West. They normally inhabit further up the coast of South Africa. They enjoy mud bathing as can be seen from this one.

These are Bushpigs and they are not normally in very Southern part of South Africa. One of their favourite pastimes is having a mudbath. Cheers Ken Wynne-Dyke

This curious hyena got caught on camera stealing our opposing camera trap! The flash goes off whilst in the hyena's mouth. The 'stolen' camera was found 20m away from it's original set up site: Whilst we were on a scat walk a few days later, luckily our ranger Grant spotted the camera in the bush a few metres in from the road!

9th June 2018 This buck might have been asleep as frame #121e at 6:01am shows him still at rest in the hollowed out scrape. #122a: At 8.01 he must have woken up? #123b: At 8:31am the buck is still in the same spot. #123c: After a documented 2 hours, the buck finally gets up and walks away (this buck is one of the two combatants from frames #38a, #38c & #39d on the 19th May 2018)

We have been running a leopard project in Tandoureh National Park, along the Turkmenistan-Iran borderland in central Asia. On 8 May 2018, we took this leopard with a neonate urial lamb inside the mouth near a spring where the camera trap was deployed. The camera trap was adjusted by Kaveh Hobeali, our dedicated field coordinator. Leopards show a seasonal shift to neonates after ungulate birth pulses in spring and this is the first picture showing predation on lambs by leopards across the Asian highlands.
